Bookalikes: spots and dots and prismatic colours

Sometimes I come across a set of covers that seem to evoke each other – and this edition of bookalike-lookalikes is all about spots. Satin Island by Tom McCarthy, Super Sad True Love Story by Gary Shteyngart, and Us Conductors by Sean Michaels: three very different novels with three oddly similar covers:

Satin Island   Super Sad True Love Story   Us Conductors

What do you think? Any other covers with spots spring to mind?

    • I really love all the covers of Us Conductors – and it’s a play on words, because it’s a novel about the theremin, which is both a musical instrument and an intrinsically electronic device. Very cool – and fun to see these themes played with on the trade paperback edition.
