Cover to Cover with Fight Club

As a cult classic, Fight Club has spawned a million cool covers. Jared Fanning’s edition is my favourite by far – I swear I’ve seen it on a physical copy, but the internet assures me it’s fan art at its finest. It won a redesign contest – and whatever the prize was, it should have been bigger:

From left to right, top to bottom: Covers from the Russian edition, Landen Griffith, Jonathan Sanger, Jonathan Trier, the Arabic edition, Michelle Burk, Johnny Wan (which reminds me of Disney’s animated Hercules but somehow I still really like it?), the North American paperback edition, and Hanna Saeed.

Cover to Cover is a weekly project comparing and critiquing the various covers of popular novels. Find more posts in this series here – and feel free to link to your blog in the comments if you do one of your own!
